Roulette Rules

Consider the rules of roulette in a simple and concise manner

Let’s start at the table. On the table there is always a roulette wheel at the French roulette is divided into 37 sectors – 18 black and 18 red and a green 0.

The goal of the game is to guess where the ball will stop. Players use their chips to place bets on the appropriate fields. But they must do so before the dealer to say the famous phrase: “Rien ne va plus.” (“No more bets”). Once the ball lands in one of the sectors, the croupier announces the winning number and pays benefits.

How to bet?

So far the game seems fairly simple and boring, but betting opportunities Roulette is incalculable.

One of the main bets is a bet of color. You almost have 50% chance to return your stake (at stake 1:1, ie a profit of € 100 bet at 100 €)

Other bets with this chance:

Rouge – all red numbers
Noir – all black numbers
Pair – all even numbers
Impair – all odd numbers
Manque – all numbers from 1 to 18
Passe – all numbers from 19 to 36

The main types of bets, however, include more sophisticated systems with a high risk, but with a greater chance to win.

Plein – 1 of 37 numbers (eg, 14)     – 35:1
Cheval – 2 adjacent numbers on the table (Split Bet – eg. 28/31)     – 17:1
Transversale pleine – 3 adjacent numbers on the table (split bet between three numbers – ie. 19/20/21)     – 11:1
Les trois Premiers – first three numbers (0/1/2)     – 11:1
Carré – 4 numbers Corner Bet (eg 26/27/29/30)     – 8:1
Les quatre Premiers – first four numbers (0/1/2/3)     – 8:1
Transversale simple – two adjacent Steele (19/20/21/22/23/24)     – 5:1

Douzaines – dozen
Premier (12P) – first dozen (1-12)     – 2-1
Milieu (12M) – second dozen (13-24)     – 2:1
Dernier (12D) – third dozen (25-36)     – 2:1

Colonnes – columns (along the table)
Colonne 34 – 1/4/7/10/13/16/19/22/25/28/31/34     – 2:1
Colonne 35 – 2/5/8/11/14/17/20/23/26/29/32/35     – 2:1
Colonne 36 – 3/6/9/12/15/18/21/24/27/30/33/36     – 2:1

There are also several special bets such as final bet. This bet is the last digit of the number. For example, the final four means that you bet on numbers 4, 14, 24 and 34. Bets recent numbers ending in six require four chips while three chips are sufficient betting last 7, 8 and 9.

Another bet on French Roulette is a “third wheel” (le Tiers du cylindre), neighboring zero numbers (les VOISINS du Zéro) and “orphan” (les Orphelins). The first of these bets include betting on twelve numbers of the wheel from 33 to 27. Pledge of neighboring zero number covers a total of 17 numbers from 25 to 22; it is possible to bet on and immediately adjacent to the zero number, ie bet is a number from 7 to 15 12. Finally, “orphans” is the remainder of the wheel: the numbers 6 to 17 and from 9 to 1

Zero

When the ball lands on zero, there are three options.

At best, bet on zero can win (or lucky to zero in one of their combinations). Alternatively, others lose, or European casinos – and this is the third alternative – the stakes are frozen and their fate is decided at the next rotation.

Outside Bets

Simple Chances

Bets on defined characteristic  numbers, that is to say whether you win:

Red or Black,

Even or Odd Numbers,

Bets are placed on the fields with the symbols of these characteristics and you win if the roll is number with certain characteristics. This ratio is simple – 1 : 1. If it comes up zero        ( for French Roulette ), player loses only half of the wagered amount.
